50% Eiffel Tower

50% Eiffel Tower

This picture was shot on 11.11.11 but it might as well have been today.
Grey and foggy weather but still very mild.

I wonder what the lines look like right now, under the Eiffel Tower at the ticket boots, as visibility is pretty shallow...
Like this it looks like it's still under construction -
as if the fog took us back into time.
If it weren't for the satellite dishes, that is...

Almost surreal image. The Eiffel Tower is something I'd like see in person one day...

the worst picture of the tower could have been taken.

Thank you so much for this true Parisian view of rooftops and a certain tower.

It's interesting for those of us who live far away to see a particular day in a beautiful city. (Over here in New York, the top of the Empire State Building is often cloaked in fog.)

Best wishes!

Awesome shot! The Eiffel tower looks like it's cut!
Wouldn't be my favorite trip to Paris in this times. I prefer blue skies if I'm walking around.
Just too easily freezing.

I love how the shot includes that building under construction (or renovations) on the left side.
Really gives the impression of plausibility for the Eiffel Tower being only half built.
